Desert Christian School on quality education with a strong basic Christianity. So that each student is expected to have a high standard of Christianity, such as honesty, integrity, discipline, responsibility and love towards God and each other. And this all started on the stairs up to the age of children twelve years on the stage, from Kindergarten to Desert Christian Elementary School.
Desert Christian Elementary School features modern classrooms, spacious grounds,
up-to-date curriculum and equipment. Classes are teacher-directed and strong emphasis is placed on foundational skills in math, reading, social studies and language. Children are also involved in music, arts, and physical education classes.
Formalized computer education is offered to students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades, which includes instruction in the use of keyboard, problem solving techniques, and the general application of computers.
Academic Support Programs are available at Desert Christian School. The Discovery Program is aimed at serving students who have learning disabilities that hinder them in understanding spoken or written language. The Reading Road Program is designed to give extra support to 1st through 5th grade students needing supplemental instruction in phonics, auditory discrimination, reading and writing skills. Search and Teach provides one on one instruction for 5 & 6 year olds who are at risk for learning problems. Speech Therapy services are also available.
Spiritual growth is nurtured within each child during regular times of sharing in God’s Word and through the integration of spiritual principles throughout the day.
